CapturePi is a one-man studio lead by yours truly, a destination wedding videographer from Rijeka, Croatia.
My name is Karlo Čargonja.
Why weddings in particular, you ask? Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret; I’ve always been a bit of a hopeless romantic which is why weddings – of all shapes and sizes – are my main source of inspiration.
Capturing pi
I won’t write about what makes me different from everybody else, that’s what my portfolio is for. You’ve probably already noticed that none of the videos I’ve made are alike.
Wondering why?
Well, I believe that no couple is the same, and I approach every wedding with that in mind. My work mirrors this exact idea – I try to subtly capture the instances in which you are at your most genuine, as well as all the small details, sincere touches, expressions and movements you may not even be aware of! These unique, and therefore perfect moments I like to call Pi.
How I work
While thinking back on your big day, you probably won’t be able to remember all the words spoken and touches exchanged, and all the whirls and twirls that danced your feet off. You’ll memorise only those moments that held the strongest emotions, which is why I make short video formats that allow for them to be intensified. My goal is for your video to resemble a short film, a love story of your own making.
Having been in this situation myself, I do understand how difficult it may be to stand in front of a camera. And while sometimes I will be in your line of sight, rest assured I will make you feel as comfortable as possible every step of the way. This is your day, after all.
The package
After a long period of thinking and thoughtful planning, a small, carefully designed box has been made. Each box is hand-cut and glued by yours truly. It contains a flipbook with one shot from your wedding, 15 different postcards with QR codes on the back with a link to your video, and of course, a small case with the flash drive itself!
